We are a Christian family that exists to love God and to love others. We are seeking to save the lost and mature those being saved to become more like Christ. At Millington church you will find acceptance among friends. You will be able to grow spiritually through worship and use your gifts in service and ministry for God's glory. What We Believe
We believe... in one God. Creator and Ruler of all things, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The three are co-equal and are one God.
About Salvation
We believe... that salvation is a gift of God found only in the Lord Jesus Christ. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty. We believe that baptism is the central event by which we demonstrate our trust, participate in the death, burial, and resurrection with Christ, and contact His saving power. When we repent and turn to Jesus in obedient faith and are united with Christ through a new birth, we are saved (Romans 6:1-9). As new born Christians, we continue walking in the light (1 John 1:7).
About the Bible
We believe... that the Bible is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit and without error. It is the complete revelation of God's will for salvation and the supreme source of truth for Christian living and beliefs.
